Customs area at the warehouse at the Milan Marketplace

The goods, coming from different locations throughout Italy, arrive at the Swiss Logistics warehouse inside the fruit and vegetables marketplace in Milan, and are then sorted and controlled according to the exact quantity and the day of arrival. Next, they are placed in the customs clearance area, prepared at low temperatures suitable for the preservation of each type of product, for the necessary checks to prepare loading onto the vehicles. The logistics department is responsible for organizing proper delivery of the products within 24 hrs. throughout the Swiss territory.
While the state of the departing goods is thoroughly checked, the paperwork is prepared for customs, declaring everything that must be exported from Italy and maintaining contact with the Swiss import customs, according to the regulations in force, thanks to the AEOF (Authorized Economic Operator Full) authorization. The refrigerated vehicles that guarantee the cold chain are loaded ready to leave for Switzerland.
